Earth wires are made from stranded galvanized high carbon steel wires. They comprise of 3 to 7 strands of such wires. All steel strands are smooth, uniform and free from imperfections such as die-marks, cents after drawing and standing, scratches and abrasion. The material is then suitably packed before dispatch on wooden drums as per the customer’s requirement.

Application Description
In a wiring installation, the earth wire is used to create an electrical connection to earth, that provides an alternative path to the ground for heavy currents. For low resistance the metallic parts in the electrical equipment are grounded. If a fault occurs in an electrical system, earth wires help stop electricity that might otherwise flow through human body as electric shock.
